Boy Scouts Father Son Overnight at Mutual Dell (Timpanogos)

Dallin and I spent a cold damp night at Mutual Dell (along the Alpine Loop road) in the Eagle’s Nest camp with other members of our Stake Scouting program. The Blazer Scouts (11 year olds) are somewhat restricted in the number of camps they can go on, since there are requirements for parental supervision that the 12 year olds do not have.

For the camp, the boys were supposed to set up their own tents and prepare their own meals. After our overnight we packed up and headed to Granite Flats for the boys to do their 5 mile hike, with activity stations every mile-ish to check off some badge requirements.

It was a lot of fun for all, with some excellent memories.
